The Continental’s first trailer takes the John Wick series to the ’70s

We’re fresh off the debut of the fourth John Wick movie, and more is already on the way — though without the iconic assassin the series takes its name from. Peacock just released the first teaser trailer for The Continental — full name The Continental: From the World of John Wick — a prequel series that explores the history of the titular hotel, which plays a big part in the Wick mythology.
The series takes place in 1970s New York and follows a younger version of Winston Scott (played by Colin Woodell) as “he’s dragged into the Hell-scape of 1970s New York City to face a past he thought he’d left behind.
